Be your own leader

Have you ever asked yourself, “What are my biggest distractions?” Here’s what I know: - Overwhelming schedules - Chores at home - Phones (Social Media for instance) - Job… You get the picture.
I got so many advice from my parents, sister, and brother:
Dad: “Work hard, nothing you wish for will come to being unless you step up. Expect the unexpected.” Mom: “Be wise and choose the right choice to lead you in life.” Brother: “Fear is natural but is your choice to let it pull you down or push you forward, all you have to do is find your motivation and strength.” Sister: “In life there are difficulties, but learn to walk through the fire to get to a field of freedom.”
Some advice I don’t get them, but that’s not a problem, because I ask when I don't understand. I once asked my dad, “What does it mean to be wise, in your own meaning, not the dictionary?” My dad scoffed and went through his phone. He showed me a picture that read, `Leadership is for all shapes and sizes, all it takes is knowledge and wisdom.`
“I am sure that answered your question,” he responded, and I smiled. It was actually weird to me cause it’s so hard to imagine that anyone, child, teens, young adults, and adults can all have leadership spirit. I won’t even mention the old peeps, because everyone knows that old people are wise and they have an ocean of knowledge.
A great leader is intelligent, master of disguise to his opponents, fast, reliable and skilled. This isn’t a lesson or anything, but if you study the meaning of those words, you can understand where I'm coming from.
Wise - Know yourself, be courageous and think ten steps further from your opponents. Intelligent - Be smart enough to know the game of life.
Master of disguise - Don’t let anyone not in your inner circle know your weakness, emotions, values, goals, and dreams. That’s what they target to pull you down. Fast - Be quick and nimble. React before your opponent acts.
Strong - Not muscularly strong, but spiritually, emotionally, mentally, and physically. Know your strengths and weaknesses.
Skilled - Multiply your abilities, gifts, and talents so they can help get you to your goals and dreams.
