It's Only a Start

I remember trying to imagine what it would be like having to finish my college qualification and finally getting a job, a dream i tell you. Things didn’t work out as planned, but funny enough i am at peace with everything that’s happening and that didn’t happen. In that moment I learned to wait. Life has a way of teaching us to wait, whether you waiting to catch the next taxi or a TV programme playing later. However there’s the kind of waiting that keeps you busy.

Imagine being given what you want at the time you want it only to find that you are not even ready for what you asked for. Then only to loose it all, because you just loved the idea of having what you want without considering what you need to equip yourself with for the success and enjoyment of what you really want. But why wait when you can go out there and get it. Why wait when you can meet people who are aligned with what you want. Some say time waits for no man, which is very true because believe you me time changes everything. Under any circumstances though, don’t let anything stop you from pursuing your dreams. Let no time, bank balance, people, age, race and even the weather hinder your plans.

But the universe has a way of giving us what we want. Take me for instead, I’ve waited all my life for my father to come back and be a part of my life. The universe introduced me to a bigger father, The heavenly father. And finally the wait was over, took me a while to realise I have been answered all along because it wasn’t what I wanted but what I needed. The waiting was not in vain. Therefore it is very important to notice the little miracles and blessings we have, to acknowledge and appreciate them.
